I'm on my way to Ma'alaea Harbor to volunteer at the research department at Pacific Whale Foundation. I haven't been doing that for a while since I've been working so much but today I have a day off so I'll drop by for 6 hours or so. I'll be identifying spinner dolphins and humpback whales. It takes a lot of time though, I often spend hours without finding a single match.
Still, I look forward to it. It's nice to keep a little contact with the research side of marine biology even if my field of work is more about education and conservation.
