Cleaning Help

We made the decision to hire cleaning help. I'm unsure whether it's the right decision. It feels wrong to have someone else clean my place but I'm not sure why. I work a lot. A lot! And I probably make somewhere around $20 per hour. The cleaning lady charges $20 per hour. She is a more effective cleaner than we are, not to mention that I'd much rather pick up another shift then clean for a few hours, so in a way it probably saves me a lot of time. I hate having a dirty apartment but the little time I have off I'd like to spend being off and not cleaning.

I feel like we should be able to take care of it ourselves but at the same time it kind of is a full time job, especially with two cats, and since we both work full time, maybe it's not so wrong to pay for some help. Also, I kinda get stuck doing most of the work at home and it annoys me. At least this way, we'd both be paying for it. Truth is, our apartment is messy and dirty and I don't have the energy to deal with it. It makes me depressed and it causes a lot of tension at home.

For $60 per week, I kinda think it's worth it. Maybe. We'll see.
