I'm trying to figure out how to apply for an H1-B; a 3 year work authorization. It's a pain in the butt since it's so complicated. There are all these forms in all these different places and that has to be sent to other places, some forms are required for others, and all of them give me headaches. I feel like Asterix and Obelix in "the place that sends you mad."

I had an awesome day at work today. It started with a mama whale teaching her baby whale how to breach a few hundred meters away from the boat, and ended with this:

Total Lunar Eclipse

The only camera that I had was my phone so the picture isn't awesome but it is from right after the lunar eclipse this morning, it was beautiful. A nice thing about getting up at 4 in the morning is that you get to see things like that.

I'm overworked and not at all ready for Christmas but otherwise things are fine. My brother is coming over in a couple of weeks and I'm planning for that. We'll be doing some hiking, some snorkeling, maybe camp in Hana, and (if economy allows) take a trip over to Lana'i. It's going to be great! :)

I worked the sunset cocktail cruise yesterday. There was live music on board, and the sunset over Maui's neighboring island Kaho'olawe was fantastic.
