Dragon Fruit

We went to Kahului today to check out some stores to buy cheap, locally grown, organic produce. In "Cash N' Carry," Jordan picked up the weirdest thing and said I had to try it. Dragon Fruit was the name and it was quite good, tasted kind of like kiwi.

Old Pali Trail

We're hiking again, this time up to the wind turbines at the top of the Old Pali Trail on Maui's west(ish) side.

Really ugly picture, but it was mid day and super hot, and we had run out of water so we wanted to get back down quick, hence this is the only photo of us. All in all, I give this hike a 5. It has a good view but is otherwise rather boring and way too hot. Also there are no waterfalls and no stream whatsoever. Worth doing once though, for sure.

Eagle Rays

Spotted eagle rays hanging out around the fishing boat "Strike Zone," waiting for the left overs to be thrown in after the caught fish have been filleted.

Lahaina

Took a trip to Lahaina with Connie today on my day off. Went shopping at my favorite store LUSH, had a drink at a rooftop bar, went to an art opening at the Art Society by the banyan trees, and watched a beautiful sunset.

Work Day

5 am, about an hour before sunrise and I'm at the little skiffing boat that we use to get out to the big catemaran. It's dark, it's cold, and I'm tired.





Later that same day, we're tied up at our snorkeling spot in Molokini and things seem a little better.

Chillaxing

After a long week with work and surfing, I'm at home in the couch with my kitties.
