Yes!! Yes yes yes!! Ooooh yes, ladies and gents; yes yes yeeeeaaaassss!!!
Even though Fox News may not be quite ready to admit it already, the president Barack (that's spelled with a ck?!) Obama has been re-elected and will rule this country for another four years. Hell yeah! In your face, Fox News! You can try to come up with whatever excuses you want, but HE won and you'll have to live with it for the next four years.
We know, we know, you will continue to criticize him until he gives the title up in four years but no one in his or her right mind will not trust a word that you say because Fox News is the most biased TV channel ever.
I'm a little too excited right now so I'll get back to you all later.

Excitement
At home watching the election on TV, how fucking exciting is that? (Please excuse my language, I blame emotional circumstances.) This is THE election! If Obama wins then he can spend the next four years focusing even more on turning this country (and the entire world, seeing all the shit that can come out if it being in the wrong hands) into something slightly better than what it is today. Seeing how he knows he cannot be re-elected a third time and don't have to spend as much time on the election in 2016. If Romney wins... Well then I guess that America will stay America, with ALL its faults. Why change a winning concept, right?
Man, I'm getting swept away by this. This is hands down the most important thing that has happened since the Superbowl. This is like watching the votes come in for the Eurovision Song Contest, only actually interesting.
I love switching channels between the democrat MSNBC saying "Obama is going to win this!" to the republican Fox News saying "I don't know how anyone can still think that Obama is going to win this."
I don't know what to think myself. I wouldn't trust Fox News for the world, but Obama has been losing for several hours now. On the other hand, Fox is starting to complain about illegal voters and that gives me hope. Why would they do that unless they think they are losing? Can I just know already!?!?!?
*phant phant*
And Delaware is a state? Four years in this country and I managed to miss that. Maybe Americans are not worse than Europeans when it comes to geography, maybe they are just worse at European geography that Europeans.
Anyways, I will get back to you after the polls are closed.

Dragon Fruit
We went to Kahului today to check out some stores to buy cheap, locally grown, organic produce. In "Cash N' Carry," Jordan picked up the weirdest thing and said I had to try it. Dragon Fruit was the name and it was quite good, tasted kind of like kiwi.

Whole Dragon Fruit

What it looks like inside. White, juicy flesh with tons of tiny black seeds.

In the car...

Tom sitting beside me right now. Not sure what he's trying to say.

Old Pali Trail
We're hiking again, this time up to the wind turbines at the top of the Old Pali Trail on Maui's west(ish) side.

Kaho'olawe

Kihei and Haleakala

Really ugly picture, but it was mid day and super hot, and we had run out of water so we wanted to get back down quick, hence this is the only photo of us. All in all, I give this hike a 5. It has a good view but is otherwise rather boring and way too hot. Also there are no waterfalls and no stream whatsoever. Worth doing once though, for sure.

Bamboo Hike
Catherine came back to visit, although this time with her boyfriend Steven. We went on the Bamboo Hike, it's an easy hike with some beautiful waterfalls and it was my first time doing it. :))
The third waterfall was my favorite and I also really liked walking through the bamboo forest.

I remember being twelve and learning about the holocaust in school. I remember not understanding how the German people thought, how they could have believed what they did, voted the way they did, swallowed the shit that was given to them. I didn't understand why and how they didn't see through all the lies and bullshit.
Today I see Europe, especially Sweden, and I understand. And it makes me lose hope of humanity. When oh when will Europe remember it's gloomy history? When oh when will they ever learn from it?

"The Sharkfin" mitt favoritställe för snorkling.
Delfiner senare på kvällen.

Solnedgång bakom ön Lana'i.

Shopping Spree
Me and Connie spend a good seven hours in the most exclusive shopping center on Maui. We did lots of window shopping and a little bit of wine drinking. I ended up buying a $35 gold ring but that was all. I wanted to buy so much more. I found my favorite paintings in the art galleries, a great pair of sunglasses, and some awesome classic dresses at White House / Black Market. However I bought none of it. I took pictures though.

Awesome shades

Awesome, old fashioned dresses that I fell in love with

... And a couple of aloha-turtles!
