Homeless in Kihei
As I park my bike at Stella Blues early in the morning, I see the usual homeless guy is already there. By the time I lock the bike up he's already checked the two trash cans. As I cross the street to get to the bus stop, I see him walk down the street in a different direction, towards Piilani Shopping Center. He's probably on his way to the next trash can on his daily routine. The bus comes and I turn up the volume of the music in my iPhone.

Onboard Ocean Voyager
We had some maintenance that had to be done on Voyager today so I ended up staying a few hours longer than normal. This is how I spent most of that time. :)
Jordan's phone got stolen a while ago and my old one broke so we got new ones last week. Believe it or not but it turned out to be cheaper for us to buy us two iPhone 4 than to buy other phones so we did. I never used to care much for phones that sould do things other than calling and messaging, but iPhone opened my eyes for the awesomeness ow apps. Haha, I'm in love with my phone and very happy to finally be able to listen to music outside of my house again.
On my free time onboard Voyager I took some pictures for you guys. You can see them below. First off we have the boat that I work on, Ocean Voyager. The second picture is our sister boat Ocean Odyssey entering the habor at Ma'alaea, Maui. The third pic is of Ma'alaea Harbor, the home of Ocean Voyager.
Did I already write that we moved to Maui? I don't think I did. Well, I will now. :)
As soon as I graduated from Hawai'i Pacific University on the island of O'ahu, Jordan quit his job and we both moved to a smalltown called Kihei on the island of Maui. Once we got here, Jordan got a job at Baron and Leeds and I got hired as a naturalist for the Pacific Whale Foundation. It is kind of what I wanted to do when I set out to become a marine biologist and in a way it is really a dream job. We still have a lot of things to figure out after the move here but things are falling into place and we're really happy about all the great things that have come into our lives.
Yesterday Jordan's sister Sasha took me on a photo shoot just for fun and so that she could figure out some flattering angles. The photos were gorgeous and I'll post them for you guys in a few days. Now I'm tired and Connie's visiting so I need to leave the puter and have a cup of organic cammomille tea with her. We've got some chatting to do before I fall asleep. Zzzzzz... Nite everybody!

This Is Why I Love My Job
On our way back to the harbor from our second snorkeling spot, the crew and guests onboard the Ocean Voyager got some company from a megapod of more than a hundred Hawai'ian Spinner Dolphins. It's hard to tell from the video since the quality isn't the best, but it was a great ecperience. Aaahh... Just another day at the office. ;)
